Warwickshire Pride

Warwickshire Pride is a charity that works with and for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT+) people across the county.

The charity provides a range of services for LGBT+ people, families and professionals that include:

  • PROUD YOUTH - Weekly youth groups for young LGBT+ people aged 12 - 18. Proud Youth runs on:
    • Thursdays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at South Lodge, Jephson Gardens, Parade, Leamington Spa, CV32 4AA.
    • Saturdays from 2:30pm - 4:30pm at Foundation House, Masons Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 9NF.
    • Tuesdays from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Ash Green School, Ash Green Lane, Coventry, CV7 9AH (STARTING AUTUMN 2020).
    • Saturdays from 11:00am - 1:00pm at Rugby Methodist Church Centre, Russelheim Way, Rugby, CV22 7TB (STARTING AUTUMN 2020).
  • PROUD PARENTS - A monthly group for parents, families and carers of LGBT+ people. Proud Parents runs on the first Saturday of each month from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at Coffee #1 in Leamington Spa.
  • TRANSTOGETHER - A monthly social group for trans people. Transtogether runs on the first Saturday of each month from 2:00pm - 4:00pm at Bedford Street bar in Leamington Spa and the third Saturday of each month from 2:00pm - 4:00pm online via Zoom.
  • PROUD STRATFORD - A monthly social and support group for LGBT+ people in Stratford. Proud Stratford runs on the second Saturday of each month from 11:00am - 1:00pm at Foundation House in Stratford-upon-Avon.
  • WARWICKSHIRE PRIDE SPORTS CLUB - A regular, inclusive, body positive sports club for LGBT+ people that takes place in Leamington Spa. Please refer to the Warwickshire Pride website for specific listings.
  • Regular social activities and coffee mornings/afternoons. These take place at various locations across Warwickshire. Please refer to the Warwickshire Pride website for details.
  • Telephone and email support.
  • Talks, workshops and training, including the highly sought after LGBT+ Awareness training and Trans Awareness training.
  • Consultancy.
  • Advocacy.

The charity also organises the annual Warwickshire Pride festival, which takes place in Leamington Spa each summer. Please refer to the calendar page of the Warwickshire Pride website for up to date listings.

Warwickshire Pride exists to ensure that all people feel valued and included in society, regardless of sexuality or gender identity.

Costs:

There are no costs to access the support services that Warwickshire Pride provide. There may be some costs to attend the social activities and for the training opportunities.

All of our activities and services take place at venues where there is full access for all people. The Warwickshire Pride festival has British sign language interpreters on stage throughout the day, plus an accessible toilet and a Mobiloo (toilet with a hoist and changing bench).
