Warwick Horticultural & Allotment Society

The main aim of the Warwick Horticultural and Allotment Society is to encourage interest in and knowledge of horticulture.  It has been in existence for more than 75 years and has the Mayor of Warwick as its President.  Membership is open to all and children join free.  The Society is also an affiliated member of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS).

Having an allotment is not a requirement for joining - anyone with an interest in gardening and horticulture is welcome.  It is also an excellent way to learn from others' horticultural experience.

The WHAS organises a number of talks, trips and social events during every year - full details are given on the Membership Card.  An Annual Show is also held annually over the August Bank Holiday weekend (see attached Show Booklet).  We also operate a Trading Hut situated at the heart of the Percy Estate Allotment site in Warwick, where members are able to purchase a wide range of gardening essentials at preferential and competitive rates.  As a member, you would also be entitled to discounted rates from certain commercial suppliers.
