Welcome to The RYTC, the home of inspiring, award-winning performing arts and creative drama therapy, for children and adults in Warwickshire, the West Midlands and online globally. We change lives creatively every day with our inclusive, innovative acting workshops, drama clubs, theatre training and team building.
Our talented team are passionate about helping people grow in confidence and happiness, developing activities that meet their specific needs, building emotional resilience as well as practical life skills. And we have a lot of fun, too! RYTC works with a range of partners to help deliver an expanding programme of drama for everyone.

 

All work is led by our expert staff with guest directors and creative professionals from all disciplines and backgrounds.

Eligibility:

Youth theatre/film groups...

  • We are here for all those of you who are interested in the performing arts. Whether you have lots of experience or just lots of enthusiasm, come along and have fun.
  • We cover all aspects of performance with, where appropriate visiting tutors, and visits to the theatre/festivals are regularly planned.
  • In order that you receive individual attention in groups, we limit the size of the classes.
  • All participants have an equal say in each group's content and progress; we are learner centred at all times (learners often vote on projects to be done. So far choices have included writing original scripts, perform favourite plays and musicals, stage fighting, stage masks and producing films out on location.
  • Learners are asked to wear clothes that they can move easily in and come willing to be active!
