People in Action - Bedworth Community Gardens

People in Action have been a leading provider of Horticultural Therapy for many decades. At Bedworth Community Gardens we provide day placements in a safe environment with an opportunity to develop practical and theoretical horticultural skills on different aspects of horticulture from growing vegetables to garden centre experience. 


The Bedworth Community Gardens provide flexible day placements for customers with learning difficulties, supported by trained horticultural therapy specialist. The Horticultural Therapy allows our trainees to:

-   Learn new skills
-   Make friends
-   Socialise
-   Develop a sense of achievement
-   Increase physical and mental wellbeing


We are also open to the public selling good quality plants and produce grown on site.

Age range:

19-24 yrs , 25-44 yrs , 45-64 yrs , 65-74 yrs , 75-84 yrs , 85+ yrs


Adults with learning disabilities.


£10.00 per hour for the educational placements

We also offer volunteers placements.

We also have plants and food grown on premises for sale with trained staff to give advice.
