It features 3 ground floor bedrooms each with their own en-suite wet room. Adapted facilities and a great staff to person ratio to enable everyone staying to learn new skills and improve on the skills they already have. Customers and families have found that when people stay at Milner House not only does their confidence grow but also their friendship circles and the things they are able to do independently.
Transition into the Respite/short breaks service is at the individuals own pace and we will work with them and their families/carers to ensure it is a smooth and positive transition.
All of our customers and new customers are welcome to enjoy our Community Allotment and Sensory Garden to grow and cook their own vegetables and herbs as part of our Health and Well-being Programme.

Milner House has been built with accessibility in mind, all of the doorways are widened, all of the accommodation is contained within the ground floor. Each bedroom has its own accessible wet room and there is an additional communal bathroom with an electronic bath. The kitchen consists of lowered and regular height worktops and the sink and cooker hob are accessible also for wheelchair users.
