Action 21 is a local volunteer-based charity that aims to reduce the environmental impact of the Leamington and Warwick communities and raise awareness of the benefits of sustainable living.
Action 21’s Re-Useful Centre provides a valuable source of low cost second-hand furniture, bicycles, electrical items and other manufactured goods for the local community. The income raised from the shop helps pay for the charity’s various local sustainability projects – the biggest of which is the Re-Useful Centre itself.
A wide range of volunteer roles are available, and a thriving community of around 60 volunteers are involved with the running of the shop. Many volunteers have found the experience a valuable step towards gaining employment.
The shop is open 10am-4pm every day.
