The Purpose of the Accelerate project is to help individuals from Coventry & Warwickshire who are unemployed or economically inactive gain employment or move closer to achieving employment.


We understand that every individuals circumstances are unique, therefore Accelerate provides individual one-to-one support, which is provided through a Journey Guide, the Journey Guide will work to identify any needs and barriers, identify and provide any suitable support and/or training.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • ESOL
  • Mental health support
  • Skills training and certificates
  • Wellbeing and healthy living
  • Working with people who have a learning disability
  • Refugee and migrant support
  • Women only groups
  • Self employment and micro-enterprise
  • Volunteering
  • Supporting single parents

Accelerate is a Building Better Opportunities Project funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund." Managed by Coventry & Warwickshire CDA and delivered by a partnership of local organisations.


Service Access

Age range:

19-24 yrs , 25-44 yrs , 45-64 yrs , 65-74 yrs , 75-84 yrs , 85+ yrs


To be eligible for the service you need:

  • to be age 19 or above
  • not be in employment (including zero hours contracts & self-employment)
  • have the right to live and work in the UK


This is a free support service.

The service is free as it is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.
